The Tropical Innovation Festival invited us back in June to once more to showcase some of the exciting new food and beverage products to come out of our region.  With Mushroom pates, Hairy Man Kombucha, gift baskets, vodkas and much, much more on display it was a wonderful opportunity to network and talk to potential investors.

Heading down to DAF in South Johnstone, we attended the Growcom Negotiation Tactics workshop with growers from throughout the Cassowary Coast.  The workshop was a fascinating insight into the best ways to negotiate contracts particularly with agents and big supermarkets.  This program is one that keeps on giving with ongoing mentoring and resources for participants.
